Follow Up

Since we are away from home I have lost touch with lots of stuff. Last night I got to thinking about the fate of Free Market Warrior. If you recall, this is a kiosk at a mall in Charlotte, NC that we visited in support of their eviction due to the materials that were being sold. (You can see my post here.) Mall management received a complaint and chose to end the lease for this business. I went to their site to see what had happened as the Simon Group that owns the mall had been flooded with folks complaining about their decision. It seems that they were told that they could remain open if they removed certain items. Free Market Warrior chose to leave rather than compromise. I say HURRAH! Read the article posted on their site here to find out details as well as to read about other items for sale in the same mall that the management does not deem offensive. The mall is a microcosm of our current society. I knew there was a reason why I don't enjoy shopping in malls!

Sue,
THANK YOU for posting this. I had completely forgotten about this! Simon Properties is also the one that jerked the rug out from under the Atlanta Tea Party pretty much at the last minute. Thanks for the link to Free Market Warrior's site. I may "borrow" this topic for my blog. Did you read some of the comments? Sickening. The "Obama Zombies" have tasted the Kool Aid, that's for sure...

Amazing. Simon Properties in WPB is out - bankruptcy. They didn't pay utilities and the stores that are left was almost without power and water. But Simon relented and paid up. However, the store would probably have went out anyway. I don't believe in president bashing - the president is trying let's give him a chance. He had a huge mess to clean up. At least now we are getting our freedoms back that we lost with the last president. Thank you for sharing. Blessings, Janet Nearly forgot -- LOVE THE ROOSTERS.

Thanks for the comment, Janet. I really don't like president bashing but saying that there was a big mess to clean up is bashing too. I am not bashing Obama as the man, I am bashing what he is attempting to do and that is steal our freedom. You can tell by my posts that I am upset and concerned about many things that have occurred and it is not just Obama- it is the congress, the senate, on both the Republican and Democratic side. I believe in less government and personal responsibility and our Constitution. As for Simon Properties, don't know much about them or that location but if they left without properly tying up ends such as paying bills, that speaks to the personal responsibility that I am talking about.
