- Home is my favorite place to be. I enjoy making it as cozy and comfortable as I can. I do think I got the passion for homekeeping and decorating from my mom. Now that mom is living with us, we are enjoying decorating and crafting together. Our two sons have married wonderful women. My husband and I are enjoying their growing families but unfortunately due to our move in January 2009, it is at a distance. I use my blog as a way to keep in touch with family and friends as well as a way to share those things I enjoy and feel passionate about. My interests are varied and this blog reflects that. I am passionate in my love for God and this great country. (If you are only interested in decorating and cooking this may not be the blog for you!)

Our construction is drawing to a close!
I never would have dreamed that this process would be so quick. It has been fun-most days. The work crews have been so great that we joke we will miss having them here each day. Once we have the decorating underway we will post more pictures. For now you can catch up with the new pictures I posted on the blog devoted to the addition here.
