The News

I really enjoy starting my mornings with my friends. As they say, their news is fair and balanced and might I add that they can be really funny! I was watching this AM- not typical for a Saturday- and decided that golf might actually be fun. They showed footage of this event.
I have tried listening to some of the other networks but they are so blatantly biased in their reporting that my stomach turns. I do admit I listen to NPR from time to time as they have some interesting programming. Some of their stuff is so absurd I can't help but laugh (while crying inside knowing people are stupid enough to believe their bogus stuff).
The other thing we watch is the weather, I mean who doesn't talk about the weather. The warmer weather here is one thing we are celebrating with our move. One fun thing is that we can see a familiar face here when we watch the local weather. Leigh Brock was the weather girl at WFMZ in Reading and Allentown PA and she is now here in the Triad! We would also see her in church in PA although we never spoke (very large church). We now take a peek around every Sunday to see if we see her at our new church! I also have to let you know that although she looks pretty on TV, she is stunningly beautiful in person!
I can't talk about news without mentioning Drudge. If you don't read this, might I suggest checking it out. I am amazed by the stories he uncovers that the traditional news media does not pick up on or else they pick up on it days or weeks later.

I love to watch Fox and Friends in the morning also. Makes starting my day more enjoyable and they are definitely more fair and balanced than the others.

Thanks so much for adding me to your blog roll! :)

Makes me wish that I had cable tv so I could watch them, too. That golfer is a nut! Wonder if he dreamed about golfing in his skivvies that night and woke up to find it all true.

I also check out "World Net Daily" for my news every day...

Isn't it amazing what people will fall for just because they saw it on "the news"????
