No, I did not get lost. Life takes twists and turns and right now I am following a turn that has me helping family. Blogging has taken a back seat but I will be back! Seems I spend more time on FaceBook as I can sound off about things quickly. (Also fun to be in touch with some blogging buddies via FB!)
Today I read Luke 3:11 He answered and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. So appropriate for the weather this entire nation seems to be facing and a reminder that we need to think of and help those who are not prepared to deal with these temperature extremes. The scripture also got me thinking about the state of our country. Seems our government wants to be the one doing all the helping using our money. I oppose big government and its social programs. Unfortunately the minute you say that, some say that you are cold and uncaring. Quite the opposite. If big government would stop stealing my money (yes, I do believe it is stealing) then I would have access to more money that could be given directly to those in need.
Looking forward to the new year and all that the Lord has in store.
Glad to have you back...Welcome home! Hope you have a FUN and WARM week!
See that your good opinions are still intact. I hope that all is going well with your father's care and how I do understand all that's involved in the running and doing. Take care of yourself, Sue! Great to see you here, even if Facebook is a better outlet for you right now.
Happy new year to you too! I agree that Uncle Sam is taking far more than he should! I could be more generous with my charity donations if I didn't have to shell out taxes every time I turn around.
